Interesting graph
There’s a little emag called The Balance Sheet that arrives in my email on a regular basis. I don’t remember where I first heard or read about it, but this week they posted a graph that caught my eye. See for yourself.
When you study this, think about those who are yelling the loudest about what they call “fiscal responsible”, and then check out those who actually do the responsible thing in managing our nation’s finances. The tallest bars belong to the so-called Conservatives. The shortest ones belong to those big spending Democrats. Hmmm…
Actually, the emag is a newletter published by the American Prospect. A progressive magazine I read online.

The committee should also have heard this which I found on Andrew Sullivan’s blog. It’s something for a lot of thought:
What a wise and articulate man! I wish he could shout it from the rooftops and drown out the idiots like LaPierre who make piles of money at the expense of lives of all ages, sexes, and colors. Let us all remember those words of Thomas Jefferson.
