About

I am a retired computer/French/middle school teacher who went back to work for my k – 8 school to help with their computers and software.  Many years ago I spent time in the Philippines and a couple of different parts of Africa and became a news junkie.  In Zaire, now DRC, it seemed as if our lives could depend on being aware of the turmoil around us.  I never was cured of being a news junkie.  I learned a thing or two about the US government and our behavior toward those from the so-called third world.  This blog is an attempt to think about events and what they could mean for us as a nation.  I’ve had it at another site since 2003.
